Technical discussion regrading GEI-630 ERW pipe welding mill
After visiting factory workshops, we have a meeting time with our Egypt customer regrading the project of GEI-630 ERW pipe welding mill with API-5L standard. and have a meaningful discussion at following aspects:
1.The materials specification and steel grade requirement
The customer confirmed that the materials is with width of 680～1980 mm, thickness of 5-12.7 mm, B grade, X46 etc. X46(thickness:δ=12.7mm) and coil weight at 45t max.
The finished pipe diameter should be 85/8"～ 24"(φ219.1～φ630mm) mm, thickness of 5-12.7 mm, 6m length and max test pressure at 21Mpa which meet the API-5L standard.
2.If need the Air cooling section in this pipe production line
Generally, if the steel grade below X52, it is no need to add the air cooling roller table. That’s slove the problem of their relatively tight floor area.
3. If the annual output can reach their requirement of 200000tons/year?
According to we designed the distrubition table, it only have to work 6-7 hours can be reach the expected annual output.
4. Fl.oor space and machine layout
This is their factory layout, they prefer to sperate this area to two parts, the final arrangement of machine(including the main machine area and finishing area) is designed as U type. Total machine floor space is ≈195m×50m.
5. Confirm of the outsource brands.
The reducer adopts Jiangsu Gaomao, main motors, electric control system PLC and frequency converter adopts Simens, bearing on the main machine is the SKF brand, DC speed controller adopts EUROTHERM series, high frequency welder is Thermatool product, Ultrasonic flaw detector is adopts China brand of Anshan changfeng etc.
6. Roller specification and materials
roller specification is φ219.1、φ273.1、φ323.9、φ377、φ426、φ530 and
φ630 seven kinds.
roller materials: Cr12. upper squeezing roller material : H13;
