Straight seam welded pipe production process is brief, high production efficiency, low cost, fast development.The strength of spiral welded pipe is generally higher than that of straight welded pipe. Narrow blank can be used to produce welded pipe with larger pipe diameter, and the same width of blank can also be used to produce pipe with abnormal pipe diameter.However, compared with the same length of straight pipe, the weld length increases by 30~100%, and the production speed is lower.Therefore, straight seam welding is mostly used for small diameter pipes, while spiral welding is mostly used for large diameter pipes.
