The strips thickness and width, net storage, filling speed and main forming speed are the main parameters for selecting and designing the accumulator type. The accumulator type including cage accumulator, horizontal disc type accumulator, a horizontal spiral accumulator and a vertical spiral accumulator.  This GEI-219 ERW pipe machines  uses horizontal spiral accumulator, so that when the strip is prepared for unwinding and head-to-tail shear and butt welding, the looper can continuously delivery the pre-stored strips to ensure continuous production of the unit. The feeding speed is up to 60m/min and the filling speed is up to 120m/min.
